LizzyBird Terminus - at the Sunshine Biscuits Warehouse

Here are the Mass transit and then driving directions to the place. The Bart stop is the Oakland Coliseum on the Dublin/Pleasanton or Fremont line.

BART TRANSPORTATION DIRECTIONS:

It is recommended to be in street attire for this walk and to have other clothes beneath if desired. As soon as you leave Oakland Coliseum Bart station turnstile, take a left to where the bus stops are. Take another left once exiting the Bart stations building. Walk One and a half blocks beneath bart tracks (on San Leandro) till you come to 81st ave. Turn left at the first light (81st Avenue). Enter the the second car-sized gate on your left, right before the large Sunshine Biscuit Factory sign above. Upon entrance, there will be an above ground tunnel directly ahead of you. Go through it and continue forward until you encounter a chain-link fence with railroad tracks right behind it. Make a sharp right, and travel the alleyway between the fence and the rear of the building. There will be cars parked there. Enter the building via the human sized gated door next to a call box, it will be open. Follow arrow signs and walk up 2 flights of stairs. Enter 2nd floor door and follow hall way to the first main open room hallway before elevator. Take an immediate right to the door marked by a crow which says "LizzyBird #200" This is a live/work building, so please remain dignified and of subtle volume whilst in the main area.

FROM NORTHERN LOCATIONS:

Take the Bay Bridge to 880 South. Exit Hegenberger and turn left at the light (onto Hegenberger). Stay towards the right, passing a variety of establishments (less than one mile). Exit San Leandro Street (which vears from the right of the road right before the hill). Turn right at the light (onto San Leandro). Turn left at the first light (81st Avenue). Enter the the second car-sized gate on your left, right before the large Sunshine Biscuit Factory sign above. Upon entrance, there will be an above ground tunnel directly ahead of you. FROM SOUTHERN LOCATIONS:

Take 880 North. Take the Hegenberger Exit, then turn left at the light (passing a variety of establishments). At the next light, turn right onto Hegenberger.
